Oh, that's super neat! And yeah, I've gone down more or less the same journey :P I mean, I can come up with big overarching plots, but actually getting through from one major point to another... *sighs* Oh well.
Hmm, it occurs to me that I don't know if those are my favourite in books and shows! For some reason I'm having trouble thinking of any; I guess I just don't have them indexed that way. (Though you could describe a fair bit of the Vorkosigan Saga this way especially if you're willing to stretch a point and allow Miles talking to himself...)
Thinking about it, I think part of it is that I think character voice is a strength of mine? But also I just really love--I'm not 100% sure how to put it--those moments of transformation you can get, from two characters bouncing off each other or interacting with each other, that you can't really get any other way...
