Snowflake Challenge, Day Five

Recommend a fannish or creative resource.

This one gave me some trouble, because for the most part I don't really do resources in that way--I google, I see what I can find, there's not usually one specific place I go and do things...

--Well, there is one place: Wiktionary, which in addition to being very useful in its own right often links to more comprehensive definitions of words in more focused dictionaries. And come to think of it, I also use Hanzicraft sometimes, to break down characters and look at compounds. But neither of these are fandom resources, unless you're trying to read/watch in another language or maybe look at meanings related to names.

...so I decided to go through everyone else's posts and link to my favourites.

[personal profile] tangeriner links to a post with interesting books;
[personal profile] kaixo suggests a website with an interesting writing incentive;
[personal profile] dunderklumpen mentions two fan-created and very useful websites; I would also mention that TVTropes frequently has sometimes-useful episode recaps in its TV show pages;
[personal profile] respoftw discusses the wonders of a movie script database;
[personal profile] talkingtothesky links to a guide to the Person of Interest timeline; and
[personal profile] wickedlittletown recommends a name website, a site which I have indeed found useful.

Enjoy!
